In 2001 Fernando left the job, sell your car for R$12.000 and then bought a derretedeira and he started to produce chocolate eggs. The secret of the success was to buy chocolate with a cacao level smaller than others chocolates and make the closed eggs (with just one part), diminishing the cost.

In my opinion Fernando is really an entrepreneur who did believe that his own business could work and it is as showed in the video. A vision, inspiration and the belief that, "I can do that", is the defining image of an entrepreneur. Besides that the most important characteristic of this kind of person is that there is no fear in assuming risks. If the business is not so successful or profitable I am sure that a really entrepreneur would try again and again.
ResponderExcluirIndeed he did just well on his enterprise. I just wonder what it takes to succeed like that. There must be other things that contributed for that. Leadership may be one of them or maybe just hard working. What is the secret of succesfull entrepeneurs?
ResponderExcluirI agree that Fernando is really an entrepreneur because just a person with “business vision” can abandon the security of a formal job, invest all he had in a promising enterprise and be successful. If he was just a dreamer or somebody with willpower his business wouldn’t get this proportion.
ResponderExcluirIn my opnion Fernando did a too risk business, but in other hand all kind of a very risk business when make sure it gives a high return. For minimize the risks in business is very important people have knowledge of the business they will act.
