The profit decreases from R$12,3 billions to R$7,5 billions. According to the Central Bank the situation doesn’t worries. A study with some simulations shows that if the turbulences aggravate in a next future, the financial system can survive. The analysis was made through on a simulation that shows as the banks would react in the case of brusque oscillations in the exchange, the interests and the insolvency. 1. Even if the profits of the banks have decreased in comparison of last year I believe those institutions will not bankrupt. I believe that mergers could occur more frequently in order to save these organizations.

  2. In my opinion the decrease of profits showed in the article is very significant. The Central Bank seems to minimize the problem, but a difference of R$ 4,8 billions is something very bad for economy, mainly in crisis times where the tendency is continue to lost profits.
